At the 2007 Atheist Alliance International conference, liberal Democrat advocate Edward Tabash said:

"We don't care what  [political candidates] say in order to get elected in this religious country. We care about what kind of judges they give us on the Supreme Court, because only the Supreme Court determines if we'll have secular government...Don't look to the rhetoric they need to pander to, remember what country they're running in. I don't care what kind of verbal obeisance they pay to religion if that's what it takes to get a person in the White House who will give us church-state separationists on the Supreme Court. "

At least Tabash bluntly stated the leftist (atheist) agenda: politicians, including the Presidential candidates, can lie to America and that is OK! The end justifies the means. Stalin, Mussolini, Mao, Hitler, Marx, etc. believed in this as well.

Do I need to remind readers at least 1, possibly 2 or 3, Supreme Court Justices will retire from the bench during the next election?  The next President nominates the open benches.

I wonder why Tabash supports Obama? I'm sure it has nothing to do with Obama's attempt to appease (aka deceive) Christian voters...

Added the published piece "Why?" that I wrote.  It asks the simple question why the Democrat majority in Congress is not uplifting their ban on oil drilling.  President Bush already lifted the executive ban which immediately dropped the price.

Waiting to hear of approval for other submitted pieces.

Obama should have a "windfall profit tax" on his salary (along with other Democrats and Republicans pushing this scam).  Obama escalated from a nobody to a U.S. Senator way too quickly and that dramatic increase in pay was way too much.  A 40 percent "windfall profit tax" on his payroll should suffice (for now).  I'm being sarcastic by the way...

Is it a wonder why the U.S. has a huge debt and deficit?  Our government endorses more and more welfare programs; and, we as a people greedily accept with open hands.

Anyone with a credit card and afflicted with OOCS disease (Out-Of-Control Spending) soon learns their spending habits will no longer be tolerated by their card company at some point in time.  The government has no spending cap and is utterly irresponsible with our money.  Would anyone give a 12 year old their credit card without oversight or a limit?

Why are we not screaming at Congress as a parent would to a thoughtless, irresponsible child?

Does anyone else find this situation ridiculous when "solutions" to the problem are higher taxes and MORE government? Sounds like adding fuel to an out of control fire to me...

Everyone should read James (Jim) Cook's essay "American Downfall".  I posted it under the Independent Writers section.  Hopefully I will get the chance to publish more of his works (soon).  Also read more of his works at: http://www.investmentrarities.com/jcarchives.html

Obama gets thumbs up from the Communist Party USA.  Surprised?  I'm not.  Read http://www.examiner.com/x-268-Right-Side-Politics-Examiner~y2008m6d24-Obama-Gets-The-Communists

Added an article that was published in my local newspaper titled "Not A Serious Threat?" regarding Obama's stance on Iran.

Wrote an opinion paper why Obama would not serve the U.S. well.  Might expound upon it more later (per issue/policy of his).

I have started a "Take Action" section (in the above tabs).  Contact information regarding elected officials can be found there as well.  I will begin to make "take action" pieces that can be copied, pasted, and sent to any politician you desire.

An action against the "Fairness Doctrine" can be used right now (along with background information about this harmful legislation).  More will be added in the future.

Everyone is complaining about the high gas prices, even politicians.  Senators and House members whine and pander to one another what to do.  It's funny.

Here's a simple solution:
Since the government has accountability for the price of gas ( read http://www.patriot-fire.org/oilproblem.html), each Senate and House member; the President and staff; along with every elected official; should send their payroll checks, for 1 year, to the TAX PAYING citizens of the United States.

That will certainly help us 'common folk'.

Will they do that?  Of course not.  They will certainly TALK about solving problems...but only actions matter.

How is Obama's campaign of "change", his larger welfare system and higher tax rates for everyone, going to be any different?

Not understanding where I'm coming from?  To clarify, read:  http://online.wsj.com/article_print/SB121780636275808495.html

Posted an article written by John W K in the Independent Writers section.  It concerns the "special rights" that homosexual, lesbian, and transgender activists feel they are owed.

Wrote an article concerning the oil dilemma the U.S. and other countries are facing.  Check it out, email me if I left anything out or if there are errors.

Just some quick questions for Senator Barack Hussein Obama.  Since your campaign is mainly about "change";  why did you not "change" churches after 20 years of hateful, racist rhetoric?  You, Mr. Obama, supposedly went to church very frequently;  why did you not comprehend Rev. Wright's message and try to "change" his (and others) mindset?  You want Americans to get past the "racial divide"; why did you not "change" spiritual ideologies and get past the divide yourself?  Instead of preaching empty messages, maybe some self-improvement would be a better step in the right direction.

The U.S. Supreme Court case District of Columbia v. Heller is pending. If the Supreme Court rules to uphold the previous Circuit Court's ruling, then D.C. residents shall retain the right to keep firearms within one's home. The Circuit Court previously ruled that the "right to bear arms" was an individual right; not collective, whereby one must be a member of the National Guard.

If the Supreme Court overturns the lower court's ruling, then the severely restrictive 1976 handgun bans may revive. In 1976, this D.C. statute broadly outlawed the ability to register and store firearms within one's home. An open attack against the 2nd Amendment to many.

Lets pray the U.S. Supreme Court  rules in favor of upholding the Circuit Court's decision to allow individuals the right to keep arms for home defense purposes. If not, an egregious court decision could become precedent to the 2nd Amendment's demise in future litigations.

The liberal media is pushing more and more global warming scare tactics into the news any chance they get.  However, John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, said people can force this discussion into a healthy debate; instead of the liberal one-sided message we are tired of hearing.  Coleman further stated, "[I] have a feeling this is the opening...If the lawyers will take the case – sue the people who sell carbon credits. That includes Al Gore. That lawsuit would get so much publicity, so much media attention. And as the experts went to the witness stand and testified, I feel like that could become the vehicle to finally put some light on the fraud of global warming.”

The "man-made" global warming bologna might come back to bite these alarmists where it hurts...the same spot where their wallets are tucked away.

The Republican race for the presidential nomination is over with John McCain as the winner; undoubtedly due to the liberal mainstream media's embracement. Now
that Hillary Clinton has taken Texas, Ohio, and Rhode Island, Obama's "inevitable win" has quickly diminished. This caused an uproar among the liberal elites. As Ann Coulter said, "I don't know what the MSM [main-steam media] is so upset about-- we let them pick the Republican nominee. Did they want to pick the Democratic nominee, too?"

Any rational voter against bigger government and higher taxes will not vote for Obama, for he is the biggest pro-government expansionist among the viable
contenders. His political philosophy ranks in the minority when compared to various opinion polls on important issues. Obama's stance on many subjects grind against the majority of Americans' interests.  He is pro-amnesty for illegals, pro-abortion (he even voted against the partial-birth abortion ban), pro-gay marriage/union, and obviously a big advocate for more welfare programs (higher taxes).

If Barrack Hussein Obama can be removed from the picture, than the scenario will pit Clinton versus McCain. How painful is this? This is like choosing between a splintered jaw or a broken eye-socket. Both have their advantages over the other; yet, either
choice is equally horrifying.

I'm not excited about the choices for the next president.  Most others agree.  However, what we can do is elect conservative leaders into office.  We are fed up with politicians pushing socialist agendas, and even more fed up with sellout "Republicans".  If you don't vote for a President at the ballot box, you can vote for responsible individuals that will uphold conservative values in the local, county, state, and national level...that is the best way to change the direction of our nation; from bottom, up.

Please sign the MRC (Media Research Center) petition to keep mainstream media objective; how reporting should be.  The news media is tilted radically left.  By signing this petition, you can help nudge the media power players in the right direction of being neutral and objective.  http://www.mrcaction.org/506/petition.asp

Wrote a quick article concerning the term 'conservative democrat'; it's just a quicky though.  Currently reading an array of books, "U.N. Exposed", "Slander", "See I Told You So", along with numerous online subscriptions.  Hopefully one day I can get back to writing!!
